You can learn a lot from statistics

Friday, July 22, 2005

Many people who runs web sites seems to be almost obsessive about their statistics. I tend to not look at all for the simple reason that the numbers are a little depressive. Not much traffic leading to here, no sir… On the other hand, I never seem to get around to turning twob.net into something I’d like it to be either, so that’s alright with me.

I took a short look just now though, to see that there’s no missing links or graphics reported, and saw quite an increase in traffic. Mostly because of Johannas and Martins beautiful travel log, but there was also a few interesting search strings, proving the importance of permanent links.

so, for you people out there searching, this entry might make it a bit easier for you:

The cloud movie

Turns out that a stop-motion video I shot to test my (then) new camera shows up in third place when doing an Altavista video search for clouds

here it is: clouds.mov (quicktime)

The Mighty robot

You were searching for retro robot… this is where you want to go instead.

Infectah

dead, gone, infectah is no more… Either stay here, or try shuffled.net

Cathi Stout —or “believercise”

Lovely, wonderful tune… You probably want to go to the 365 days project where you’ll find this song and many other good ones.

Well, that’s about it for now, I’ll get back when there’s more…
