Crazy deal with dreamhost

A couple of days ago I signed up kraftvaerk for a dreamhost account (the code monster deal for $16/month was too good to pass up).
While browsing around earlier today I stumbled upon Keegan Jones’ entry over at “the Big Noob” titled “Dreamhost for 9 bucks”. Turns out that the promotion code is still valid, so now I’m set up with superb hosting (PHP4 + 5, Ruby On Rails, MySQL, Streaming Quicktime and 2.4 Gb of storage space)… And there’s even one free domain name included, for a total of $9.24 for a full year!
So if you’re considering changing hosting, or even thinking about learning Ruby On Rails within the nearest year or so, I’d suggest you grab your VISA card and do the following:
- Go to Dreamhost
- Click on the One-Year Pre-Payment button for the Crazy Domain Insane package
- On step 5 of the registration enter 777 into the special promotions box
As Keegan says, the coupon is valid only throughout the first year (otherwise it’s $7.95/month, which is cheap considering what you get) and payment must be made with a debit or credit card.

97.00 off is the maximum any coupon can take off. how it works it the person the created the coupon (any current client) can share is share of the refereal fee.
